TROUPE BIO:
Cheap Wine (Jack Creaghan, Jesse McQueen, Charlotte Creaghan) is a sketch comedy troupe.
And CHEAP WINE IS FAMILY. For real, they are in-laws. As in they spend holidays together and two of them have the same parents and two of them have a marriage certificate. Try to figure out who is what to who, how much is based on real life, and if spending this much time together is healthy. A family troupe! That's sweet and wholesome, but it's also kind of weird!
Toronto Sketchfest 2025 Winners of the AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD
They won the Audience Choice Award at Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival 2025, were the Sketchiest Sketch Troupe at Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival 2023, and they have performed all around Toronto, New York City, and at Newfoundland & Labrador Sketchfest and Montréal Sketchfest.

JESSE McQUEEN (she/her) - Cast, Producer
Jesse McQueen was most recently in @wrentheatre’s Dangerous Liaisons as Marquise de Merteuil, maybe the most awful (“damaged!!!”) woman ever? Before that, she was Marmee in Little Women, maybe the most nice woman ever? In CHILDHOOD she is sometimes a bad guy, sometimes a good guy, often an animal, usually dies.
She is a conservatory graduate of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC and has a dual degree in psychology and English language & literature from Western University. Last onstage in Wren Theatre’s Dangerous Liaisons last month, other favourite theatre credits include: Rosalind in As You Like It (Stella Adler NYC), June in JUNE (Fringe 2023 at Theatre Passe Muraille), and Mackenzie in 36 Juniper (which she also wrote and produced via Wrong House NYC). As a screenwriter and playwright, her work has been screened and staged at venues and festivals throughout North America and the UK. She is a two-time Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference finalist.

JACK CREAGHAN (he/him) - Writer, Cast, Co-Producer
Jack Creaghan is a writer, director, actor and comedian. He plays a lot of the desperate, insecure characters in the show who either get humiliated or absolutely launched. But he's our head writer so it's his own fault.
Recent career highlights include winning Outstanding Film at TO Sketchfest 2024 for his film The Future is a Joke?, and a successful festival run for his directorial debut Unbecoming, including winning Best Thriller at the Toronto International Women Film Festival. He’s done some important work recently as the infected tattoo guy from that Amazon commercial and bathtub guy from that Halo Top commercial and teeny tiny hands guy from that Airheads commercial.
